Coastal Creations Crab

Each Coastal Creation is made using pieces of my own dried artist paint palettes. I save layers of acrylic paint left behind during my painting process, then cut, shape, arrange, and layer those pieces to create a new dimensional original artwork.

The crab captures the spirited charm of the Carolina coast. Rich shades of turquoise, aqua, and coastal blue are brought together with treasured layers of paint and accented with hand-applied gold foil, creating beautiful texture and movement that catches the light from every angle.

Presented in a contemporary black floating frame with an antique gold face, this one-of-a-kind original celebrates the beauty of the sea while giving new life to pieces of my own dried artist paint palettes. Handcrafted in my South Carolina studio, this Coastal Creation arrives ready to hang.

Materials
