Coastal Creation Starfish

Each Coastal Creation is made using pieces of my own dried artist paint palettes. I save layers of acrylic paint left behind during my painting process, then cut, shape, arrange, and layer those pieces to create a new dimensional original artwork.

The Starfish celebrates the quiet beauty found along the shoreline. Handcrafted from treasured layers of reclaimed acrylic paint, each ridge and curve creates rich texture that is highlighted with hand-applied gold foil. Shades of turquoise, cobalt, lavender, emerald, and soft white emerge from beneath the gold, making every angle shimmer with depth and light.

Mounted on a crisp white background and finished in a contemporary black floating frame with antique gold trim, the Starfish brings a modern coastal elegance to any space. As with every Coastal Creation, no two pieces can ever be duplicated.

Handcrafted in my South Carolina studio and ready to hang.

Materials
